For Granted Chairs by Husnain Raza

For Granted Chairs

The world has transformed enough to count on the number of meteors passing through the Earth's orbit or the speed of an asteroid coming toward the Earth's orbit. They have achieved this and much more through the hard work, abilities, knowledge and wisdom to use their position for social well-being that they gained over the decades. We in Pakistan are yet to know the exact number of anything, whether it is the population or COVID-19 patients. Not because we lack men to work hard or face a scarcity of knowledge in society. But, because we have people on chairs who suffer from balance disorders, that made them lose their self-belief. In pursuit of duty, they have disowned their terms to practice their abilities for nation-building. However, all their efforts are indulged in empowering their wrong self, cursing their counterparts for their mistakes. These idealists aren't aware of the meaning of chair...yes, they are kept blind from understanding what leads them to enjoy their social status. They don't know that the chair they are sitting on carries knowledge, hard work, abilities, and wisdom beneath them, while practice and self-belief give them support on the sides. Therefore, the day they sit on the chair, they experience balance disorder not due to the four pillars underneath them but because of the insecurities coming from the front side that disillusionise their self-belief first and then practice. There comes their dear friend's politics and degrading, which let them visualize both sides as a result of nourishing insecurities. Yes, and there comes the time when, sitting on the chair with self-belief, they practice all four pillars to nourish their own insecurities with the help of their dear friends. They spend their whole lives in the same awe.

Don't take the chair for granted. Don't let these chairs be taken for granted!

Imagine (as we don't know the count of it as well) the chairs in our departments have been working with the full potential, we would have been leading the world. At the very least, we can make admirable efforts in emergency situations. Our professors would have some great practical and applicable research instead of those so-called studies. Our engineers would have created exceptional live saviour machines instead of sitting on chairs. Our economist would have the best economic plan in the world for this situation. Alas! Everyone is of the view that the country is confined to an individual or a department. No, my pretty yet corrupted souls, it is the responsibility of every single person living inside its boundaries. To make this piece of land progress and successful, taking chairs for granted is the worst thing one can do to the country and his own self. These for granted chairs have pushed us to the point of no end, so to all those concerned, don't let these chairs be taken for granted...

  1. Well communicated, men on the chair were responsible and still they are, because they just think about themselves not about the future of nation. They must give something to the upcoming generation so in this way they would be existed otherwise history will forget their name as good being.

  3. The time when we started judging and criticizing others rather they are higher officials or our counterparts , instead of judging and criticizing our intentions and deeds , we were set miles behind others as a nation.
So first clear remaining fingers pointing towards yourself , before pointing a finger on others.
